Necrosis (from the Greek νέκρωσις "demise, the phase of biting the dust, the demonstration of slaughtering" from νεκρός "dead") is a type of cell harm which brings about the unexpected passing of cells in living tissue via autolysis.
Corruption is brought about by variables outside to the cell or tissue, for example, contamination, poisons, or injury which bring about the unregulated processing of cell segments.
